Going into 2025 continuing our core approach to design while pushing a few boundaries😉 My semi-controversial hot take: I’m a brass girlie through and through but something shifted this year when seeing more handmade hardware collections in different finishes. Especially copper and polished nickel. We are going all in on polished nickel with our main floor bathroom reno in 2025 and I am loving it. What is your take??

With the holidays around the corner, I’ve been reflecting on family rooms. The Park Place built-in this summer demonstrates just how much paint can do, plus a little brass🎨⁠ Swipe for the before!⁠ ⁠ I harp on this a lot, but we cherish our client relationships. Getting to work our way through a client's home over the course of 1-2 years (or multiple years in some cases!) is an honor.⁠ ⁠ We are super excited to be embarking on our second project with the Park Place clients and this time focused on designing a custom banquette in their kitchen. This is one of our MOST common requests from clients with young families. And having one in my personal home, I can tell you they are a true workhorse space🍽️ More exciting things to come with this in 2025!⁠ ⁠ 📷: @margaretrajic⁠ styling: @studio_officer⁠ ⁠

Happy Thanksgiving🦃🍁🤍 I am grateful for my family, good health, my amazing team that pours themselves into our work, the incredible clients who are also terrific people and all the trades/partners who help us create one-of-a-kind spaces. Taking any sort of time off is a struggle for me, but the trip we had to Door County this week was the first time my mind has been quiet in a long time. We watched movies, played pool, enjoyed the fresh crisp air, laughed, bowled, and loved being together as a family. I felt so lucky that I get to do what I love while taking the people I love along for the ride🤍

Install ✌️complete in Ephraim! Just waiting on a few furnishing items, light fixtures and window treatments. Even though we very much designed this home to be cozy, relaxing, and used the surrounding woods to inspire the color palette, seeing everything on an overcast day that turned to early darkness was extra special. 1. @trovebystudioduggan came all the way from London to find its beautiful spot in the queen guest room 2. Entry with custom rondel glass and vintage rug 3. Primary sitting room with the vintage rug placed 4. Library side chairs in @designsofthetime washed linen 5. Queen guest room beds 6. King guest room rug 7. Office ceiling wallpaper complete and fabric wall covering to come!

Generally, I am pro-stripes in all capacities, but not in this case at our Pierce project. Kids rooms are near and dear to my heart as is making it possible for them to grow INTO not OUT OF the aesthetic. Simplifying our client's sons room with a mid-tone blue and navy custom roman shades make it feel timeless, with a side of playful🥰
