We love the way the Wayne family room is coming together. This client’s love for the soft, mutes hues along with metallic accents has been a fun design shift for us🤍Fun fact: we typically don’t reuse pieces in our designs but this double swivel was perfect at Wayne and Queens Lane a few years ago! Totally different vibe in the fabric and it changes the entire piece. See stories for more!

Same sofa, same drapes (just add tape!) and a completely different feel at our Park Place project🤩 It's not always about starting from scratch. In every project we repurpose furnishings, lighting, rugs, etc. Here's the breakdown on the Park Place living room:⁠ ⁠ - We reduced the amount of existing drapery by half a panel width on each side and removed the black out liner to make it feel lighter. Then we added a pretty teal tape from @samuelandsons 🍃⁠ - We added a new wool rug as a base layer for the space and layered the client's existing vintage rug on top of it⁠ - We added new custom pillows to the existing sofas for pattern and color⁠ - Opted for a new coffee table to warm things up while still staying airy⁠ ⁠ What's your fav part? Repeat client x 3️⃣ ❤️ We are SO excited to be working with our Briar/Thayer clients for the third time. For this project, we will be focused on a gut renovation of their basement following a recent water event (all too familiar) and using this opportunity to maximize the space adding a bathroom and bedroom. The family room at Asbury serves as a the connecting point to the rest of the main floor. The front spaces feature a rich and dramatic color scheme, in contrast to the bright and cheerful sunroom located at the back of the house. Although this wasn’t part of our initial scope, the clients felt (and we agreed!) an additional element was needed to unify the design. We added a touch of old and new (a constant theme throughout this project😉) with drapes and a vintage rug to enhance the family room. What do you think of the final result?? When I first walked through Asbury, I knew the parlor needed an Emily in Paris moment🇫🇷 I even went as far as calling @farrowandball to confirm that the wall color in the GORGEOUS Savoir office was in fact Brassica. The clients leaned in and trusted the vision which included layers of champagnes, oranges and ⁠dusty purples. And of course, a touch of antique mirror and brass⁠💛⁠ ⁠ 📷️ @margaretrajic⁠ styling: @studio_officer

1️⃣, 2️⃣, 3️⃣ shots at Oakdale that capture the Nancy Meyers vibe of this beautiful kitchen. One of our favorite ways to bring warmth and light into a space is using creamy hues. It creates a timeless aesthetic and transforms low light rooms☀️ We used a custom white on the cabinets and @benjaminmoore Swiss Coffee on the walls throughout. It brings me immense joy to create new moments in an old home🏠️ The bookcase in the Asbury lounge was missing a few shelves (thankfully in the basement!) and our client's book collection was begging to be displayed📚️ We drenched the walls, crown and bookcase in @farrowandball Green Smoke for the perfect moody library feel. I'm alive (😮‍💨) and the best way I know how to hit the grid is with one heck of a before & after. What a difference a slightly larger window over the sink and not having uppers on that wall makes! Instead we opted for a Taj Mahal quartzite ledge to keep it airy and open. Swipe for the before➡️
